Global warming.

The society has a lot of problems, one of the pourposes of tecnology is trying to solve them. Nature pollution is one of those problems that can be solved with tecnology and is the less it can do for the world consoderating that this problem was originated majorly by the same tecnology.

The problem: Global warming.

All of we know about global warming, it has been talking a lot lately, all of we know that the excess of emission of CO2 is the responsible of the trouble so, what can we do to decrese that emissions? what action causes that excess of CO2?
the answer: a lot:

• breathing
• fires
• burning fossil fuels

Stop breathing is imposible and fires, most of the times, are accidents and only represent a low portion of the CO2 excess. The burning of fossil fuels accounts for over 95% of the total of CO2 emissions. 

Main sectors to use the fossil fuel are:

• Public services (Electricty, oil).
• Transport.
• Factories.

Each point could have a diferent solution, for example, some propose make engines that use solar energy, but it is easiar said than done; in this moment, solar tecnology is not well developed and remains uneconomic and inefficient, a really useful solar car will take some more decades.

I think a parcial solution to this problem is try to decrease the transport of merchadises from field to city it isn't a complete solution because we still have the transport of people inside of cities or long travelings, but could be a viable solution.

The transport of merchadise could be avoided if we could have the products near to us, specially some fruits or vegetables that have to be transported from far away to the big cities like Hong Kong or DF.

A group of engeniers have proposed two solutions: hydroponic and aeroponic, with this we can have a lot of plants, fruits and specially vegetables in the big cities without soil, which is very util ina city where the last thing left is space. It will decrease the CO2 emissions and incidentally the spending of resources transporting merchadises from the field. if we use hydroponic and aeroponic we could have little farms in the roof of hauses and buildings, having direct access to the products, better than products bring it from foregn places. Even have been considered tha option of construct buildings specially for cultivate plants and vegetables with aeroponia and hidroponia.

Finally as curious fact is that the Aztecas were the first civilization to use hidroponic efficiently in their chinampas.
